Looking Back is 30"X30" original acrylic on canvas. I have been working through stylistic issues with some recent pieces and had an exciting breakthrough with this piece. I painted this bison with several layers of glazes building siennas and umbers into form. The background was moody and quick. Orange with pink tones building into turquois with some scraping techniques.
